Sun + Pluto Conjunct in Capricorn

On January 20th, the Sun and Pluto met - at the very last minute of the very last degree - in Capricorn at 29°59’ then swam together side-by-side into 0° Aquarius, on January 21st, 2024.

This was the last conjunction these two planetary bodies will make in the sign of Capricorn for the next 248 years. This alignment ended a 15-year-long chapter that started back in 2008.

As the Sun (our skills, goals, and purpose in life) and Pluto (our transformative power of change) met in a once-in-a-lifetime alignment at the very end of Capricorn, there’s this sense of urgency/breakthrough to find closure to the area of our lives connected to the House that Capricorn is in our birth chart.
