Venus enters Pisces

On March 11th at 5:55 pm EST, Venus entered Pisces, shining a spotlight on our relationships, romances, aspirations, and finances.

For 25 days, we’ll all collectively get to experience the exaltation of love, as Venus swims happily in the deepest parts of our emotional, spiritual, and intuitive oceans. Venus in Pisces acts like a siren waiting at a lighthouse as she highlights our longing for dramatic and perfect love. Although this ideation seems romantic, Pisces has a tendency to reimagine others (people, places, and things) in a more idealized version, which can cause sadness and disappointment.

When a planet is exalted, it means that it is harmoniously placed in a very favorable position (Sign or House), and will allow all of the positive energies and characteristics from this placement to come through in a nearly perfect expression. I say nearly perfect, as from my Astro-Observations, I have noticed exalted placements tend to lean on the more extreme side of the characteristics.

In this case, Venus is exalted in Pisces, meaning that all of the Venusian qualities that Venus naturally brings are heightened in very Piscean ways. Meaning, that during this transit, we’ll have a tendency to romanticize both our lives and relationships with others, get lost daydreaming our fantasies instead of acting towards them, and feel utterly consumed or paralyzed by our emotions. As heavy as those potential outcomes sound, it's important to note that they're all internal, and that’s kind of what this transit helps highlight.

We are all connected to everything, and how we choose to connect and interact with others, places, and things shows how in return we can experience a deep, spiritual kind of love. This transit, creates a time when we are more in tune and connected to our emotions and therefore can connect with others on a deeper level. I feel like everyone only associates Pisces with Neptune, but we must remember that Pisces is also governed by Jupiter as well, meaning even through all of the fog our minds and hearts can carry/get lost in, we still feel this need to experience, grow and learn as much as we can.

Self-care is really important during this time as Venus, the planet of love and beauty, finds herself on one end of the Virgo - Pisces Axis. I like to say that Virgo is like the physical manifestation of our Pisces spiritual plane. Which is why, taking time to care for ourselves under this transit, will align us in ways we all need to heal our minds, bodies, and souls.

Making daily positive and healthy (delusional) decisions to benefit and elevate ourselves can prove to be very pivotal throughout the rest of our year ahead. Additionally, the love and attention we give to others should be shared or equally given in return to our own selves, as we are our most important and longest-lasting relationship.
